và đêm / như thể là bầu đại dương.

Khi hai thân thể giao tương
Là hai tảng đá bên đường
và đêm / sa mạc thê lương nỗi buồn.

Khi hai thân thể giao tuồng
là hai nhánh rễ
quấn cuồng đêm thâu.

Khi hai thân thể đối đầu
là hai dao sắt chạm nhau
và đêm / nhá lửa cho đau ái tình.

Khi hai thân thể đối hình
là hai sao tự chạm mình rụng rơi
vào nơi trống rỗng cõi trời

Two bodies face to face
are at times two waves
and night is an ocean.

are at times two stones
and night a dessert.

are at times two roots
laced into night.

are at times two knives
and night strikes sparks.

are two stars falling

Dos cuerpos frente a frente
son a veces dos olas
y la noche es océano.

Dos cuerpos frente a frente
son a veces dos piedras
y la noche desierto.

Dos cuerpos frente a frente
son a veces raíces
en la noche enlazadas.

Dos cuerpos frente a frente
son a veces navajas
y la noche relámpago.

Dos cuerpos frente a frente
son dos astros que caen
